It seems from the article that you are only go to be able to get it in a "set" with the gold one :thumpdown

for the article:
The legislation also mandates that "if a gold bullion coin that bears the same design as the ultra-high-relief numismatic coins is issued," each palladium coin "may only be issued in a set containing 1 of each such coins."

So if they are only available in a set expect the following prices for the set

Aprox $1289 for Gold UHR
Aprox $400-$450 for Palladium UHR

***Taking into account today's spot***

So it is fair to say that the UHR set will cost around $1800-1900. Remember the Prosperity set???? Just for the set it was priced $193.05 higher than buying the coins separate

The crown jewels are:

GOLD

SILVER

PLATINUM

in that order too.

All the rest of the RARE metals are rare metals.

Goes from $600 to $10,000 to $600 in a few years great -and I thought they screwed the COPPER metal folks -this was like a PITCHFORK
up the old GAZOO!

IT ain't NO crown JEWEL. :5_1_120:

According to Coin World it looks like if legislation passes there will be a bullion coin sample as well as a numismatic coin of which only 15,000 of them will be offered as a set with the gold UHR.

I think I posted in another thread http://goldismoney.info/forums/showp...2&postcount=50 that the Palladium coin would see a mintage of only 10,000 to 20,000. Not a bad guess if I must say, and I didnt even know about the artcile

Great idea. Fankly, I'd like to see more (if not JUST ONE - I mean JUST one because that make NONE!) Platinum coins. I bought a few sets of the 2007 reverse 1/2 ounce and regular 1/2 ounce (in a fancy box from the US mint who were stuck with 30,000 of them because the price was so high in 2007-2008) a few months back and JUST LIKE them.

the crown jewel in order are:

gold

silver

platinum

Today ius the day Armstrong said GOLD heads to the moon - it's up $20 hope you bought last week.

Re: Palladium UHR coins to come...

I'd settle for non-UHR palladium coins. In fact, I'd settle for any sort of platinum coin that wasn't saddled with a large premium.

Forget what I just said: I'd settle for a lump of platinum or palladium with a reasonable premium.
